I was ecstatic when I saw their name on the list! I can't wait to see them perform again on Kouhaku! It's been 10 years, hasn't it? >_<

What worries me is the concert right after. They must have a lot of energy on New Year's Eve! XD


Kouhaku Utagassen is an annual New Year's Eve event of NHK where top performing artists get to perform. The artists will be invited personally and appearing on Kouhaku is a very huge feat for any performing artist in Japan.

In Kouhaku, there are two teams - the Red team and the White team. Red team consists of female artists or bands with a female vocalist, and men for the White team. They get to battle it out until it ends 15 minutes before 12am of January 1.

It's been 10 years since Laruku's last Kouhaku appearance.

i've downloaded the whole Kouhaku show last year in a good quality
and maybe i'll use my KeyHole TV to watch it live this year (before i get the good quality one), because of L'Arc

You can watch the show live on NHK World Premium, if you have that on your cable If not, then just install KeyHole TV in your computer
